Hypnosis can help you in many ways. It’s a powerful method of suggestion that will help send messages to your subconscious mind. To be successful at hypnosis, you must first be a willing party. Going in with negative expectations will harm your chances of hypnosis working for you, in much the same way it would with any other form of treatment or medicine. Cleansing The Soil

Written by genwright on Thu, 22 Oct 2009 03:36:30 GMT

There is this thing that is a constant in everyone’s life and has been so since the beginning of time. Not even the greatest minds or teachers of the world have been able to escape this issue. At least to my knowledge, the omnipresent energy of mind, body, and spirit has been subject to the lowliness of being soiled and having need for restorative cleanliness.

Services conducted by Interfaith Ministers

Written by interfaithministers@gmail.com on Tue, 06 Oct 2009 01:41:53 GMT

There are nearly 400 Interfaith Ministers who have been ordained in the UK and now carry out a range of ceremonies and services for people in the community. They work on a freelance basis, unassociated with any church or organised religion. This means that there are no restrictions on the content of the service or the type of venue where the ceremony can be held. Each interfaith minister works closely with people to design and create a wedding service, civil partnership ceremony, blessing or funeral that is uniquely tailored to reflect the wishes of those most closely involved.

What Do You Do Next in Achieving Your Goals?

Written by genwright on Fri, 28 Aug 2009 07:28:14 GMT

Vincent Van Gogh, famous for his art of 1880-90, but not recognized for it until well into the twentieth century believed that, “great things are done by a series of small things brought together.” If we consider that the goals you need to set must be specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and timely. What we need to discuss now is how to break down your goals to ensure that you achieve them. If you are anything like me, you usually have a few irons in the fire, rushing around trying to get them all completed. We have to know how to further break down our specific goals in order to achieve success in what we are doing.

Making a Plan and Taking Action

Written by genwright on Mon, 27 Jul 2009 01:40:27 GMT

When clients are first tasked with making a plan in order to take action, I initially ask them to think about a time when they were planning a vacation. What is the first question you asked yourself? You most likely considered a destination. Perhaps it’s a dream safari vacation on the Serengeti, or maybe a more relaxing stay on the Caribbean. Whatever you decided, you a needed a map to mark out your directions, or a travel itinerary. If you don’t have a plan in place, chances are slim that you will reach your destination in the time allotted for your vacation. This type of planning is critical not just to achieving an enjoyable vacation, but to most life-goals.

How To Cure Your Nervous Illness

Written by trafficsystem on Fri, 17 Jul 2009 13:50:49 GMT

How to Cure your nervous Illness
by Jennifer David

You should consult a doctor for any concerns that you may have with regards to your health.

For the simpler forms of nervous illness

Have you ever had a type of breakdown?

Have you ever had the feeling of fear that just does not seem to go away?

Have you ever felt stressed and not sure how to deal with it?

The feelings that occur that are constant; churning of the stomach, sweating hands and rapidly beating heart.

Whilst reoccurring attacks are; palpitations, ‘missed’ or ‘skipped’ heartbeats, pains around the heart, fear-spasms, trembling turns, giddiness, vomiting and breathlessness.

It is the constant symptoms that maintain the feeling of fear whilst the attacks that occur compound these feeling and make it more intense.

The cure that will help you are simple and yet many people spend their time doing the opposite.

The Cure

To cure these symptoms you have to:

Face it

Many people spend their time running away from their fears instead of facing them.

If you think about how many time you feared something before it happened and it either did not happen the way you thought that it would or it did not affect you in the way that you thought that it would.

I always say to my clients that fear is nothing more that false, evidence, appearing real.

F = False
E = Evidence
A = Appearing
R = Real
So as a very popular book title says “face the fear and do it anyway”

Accepting

This can be explained like this. You know how you feel when this or that, is happening to you or you think that something is going to happen.

You accept that you are going to feel fear in these situations.

Why not change you thinking?

Change your mood

How do you change your mood?

Start by thinking of something that you know will make you happy; something that you know would put a smile on your face.

You may say; I can not think happy thoughts when I am going through what I am going though.

OK I can see that … But ….

You can have a visual aid, a picture.

I use a picture of a beach. It shows sand, palm trees, and lots of see view where a sunset or rise could be, what ever I want to add to it. I use to carry it around with me where ever it went so that when I felt my mood going down, I would take it out and look at it.

Over time of carrying my picture around with me and taking it out to look at it when I felt the need, the picture would stay in my mind and I would just think of this picture and then I would visualize it in my mind and now this helps my mood. This takes time and patience with yourself and eventually you will get there.

Over time this will help you start to feel better in situations that would have made you feel fearful.

Although you maybe telling yourself that you have accepted that you feel a certain way does not mean that you have actually accepted it. What you say and what you are thinking should be in line with each other.

For example; if you say that you have accepted something but you are thinking that you can not stop whatever it is, then you are not in line with what you are saying and what you are thinking.

If you tell yourself that you are accepting that you feel a certain way in a situation then move on.

Moving on

Make a list of things that make you happy. At first this may appear heard but keep trying, first start with ten things and then increase until you get to fifty plus. This will help to keep you focused on positive things, whilst keeping your mind of your fears; it will also keep you motivated and keep your moods up.

Being patient with yourself

Be patient with yourself, and remember that everything takes time. You need to give yourself time with following the above information and little by little you will develop patience with yourself and find yourself feeling better and able to face it, accept it, and move on from it.
