What the Death of 2v2 Means

Written by COCONUT on Thu, 01 Oct 2009 01:23:24 GMT

With Blizzard officially making 2v2 competition near-worthless this season without being able to earn titles, shoulders, or top tier weapons from it, players are forced into playing 3v3 and 5v5 if they want anything meaningful out of arena now. Despite how incredibly… gay, for lack of a better term… 2v2 could be, it was still far and away the most popular bracket to play in because it was always far easier to coordinate just you and your partner logging on for games rather than having to schedule three people, much less five, at a given time.

Full Tilt Poker Rake Back

Written by trafficsystem on Sun, 19 Jul 2009 03:12:11 GMT

Poker forums are full of people who constantly ask the same question over and over. “what is the best online poker site to play at”? Whenever this question is asked by anybody, the same poker site keeps appearing as the answer. That site is full tilt poker. Full tilt is one of the biggest poker sites in the world, is endorsed by most of the worlds top professional poker players, and is the site where most of them play. It has good software, is safe and secure, and has opposition available at every type of poker game and every possible limit at all times of the day and night. The one thing that sets full tilt above its main competitor poker stars is that by signing up to full tilt through a poker affiliate you can recieve rake back. What is rake back i hear you ask? What the term rake actually means is that whenever you play poker at any poker site, the site charges a fee of 5% of every pot in cash games and 10% of every buy in for tournaments. This is called the rake, and it is how online poker sites make their money. When poker affiliates refer customers to online poker sites, the sites pay the affiliates a percentage of the profit that they earn from the referred player as a referral fee. In other words, the poker site pays the affiliate a percentage of your rake for referring you. A few years ago, a few clever affiliates decided to offer potential customers a percentage of the profit that they earn from them in return for the customer signing up through them. In other words, the affiliate was offering the customer a percentage of their rake back. As rake back became more popular, and more affiliates started offering it, the poker sites and the affiliates themselves got together to set rakeback limits in order to protect the industry. At this time, full tilt poker rake back was set at a maximum of 27% If you were to choose to play at poker stars, you’d pay this rake and wouldn’t recieve anything in return. The same applies to full tilt if you sign up directly through their site. If you sign up through a poker rakeback affiliate though, you can get a refund of up to 27% of your rake back. This is totally free money and shouldn’t be passed up. Considering that an average poker player rakes in the region of $1000 it would be totally crazy for them to not sign up for a free monthly bonus of $270. If you’re going to play online poker at full tilt, make sure you sign up through an affiliate who offers you the maximum 27% rake back.

Investigating The Progress In Stations For The Reason That We Progress Between Terrestrial TV To Digital TV

Written by trafficsystem on Fri, 17 Jul 2009 21:00:35 GMT

Satellite TV allows the user lots of features that watching the old digital channels merely did not afford. It is because of the huge bandwidth of broadcasting space that loads of of these new features have now become prone for people with devices such as the Technomate satellite receivers. By Keith Lunt.

But what is this talk of bandwidth? Basically, it is the way of describing the amount of space available to broadcast the signal on. In terrestrial TV, this chunk of space was limited by radio channels and other frequencies being used on either sides of the range. Also, the space that the signal of a terrestrial channel took up was quite large, not just for the reason that the signal vital the space but also because there had to be a buffer around the channel to prevent interference. How a lot of times might you tune a terrestrial TV into ghost channels and channels from other regions?

These problems are eliminated by the introduction of the digital signal from satellite TV. It broadcasts the picture signal in a far superior way, which allows the television to choose up and uncode the signal easily. This not only makes the signal take up much less space, but also means that there is less buffer zone and more channels can be cramped into the same space, without a loss of quality. In fact, the quality might be much greater for the reason that the signal is not being affected by distance from the transmitter, bad weather, undulating terrain and so on the same was since a terrestrial channel is affected.

This not only allows the broadcasters to transmit more channels, but also the extra channels needed to permit the alternate views that we might receive might also be transmitted. These extra views may perhaps each take up a special channel somewhere in the accessible bandwidth, and can, for example, bestow alternative sports to watch, or different camera views within the same sport. Motor racing fanatics might want to watch the race from the in car camera instead of following the leaders action. Tennis fans might want to watch a certain match. You might want to watch a sport that is not currently being broadcast on the foremost channels and so on. There are loads of choices for the use of the additional channels, all generated apt by the implementation of the digital signal.

And this comes on top of the surge in to be had TV channels that we get when compared to the old terrestrial channels. Instead of a handful of channels, hundreds might be broadcasting simultaneously. maybe not magnificent for the nation’s health, but terrific for couch potatoes.

So now you purely need to obtain out and decide what receiver you want. A well-liked one is the Technomate satellite receivers. Have a read around and stumble on one that suits you.
